There are three main reasons why I have enjoyed working with Kelli.
The first is that I have learned a lot about the development profession and how her success in bringing in critical financial resources stems from the way she focuses on building strong relationships with people, with a view to garnering their long-term engagement in the mission.
The second is that Kelli always seems to be ready to “ask” people to engage: She never misses an opportunity to introduce people to the organization, its mission, and impact; and she can always tell people how they can get involved in supporting the mission.
Third, Kelli spends time listening to program staff who find her very approachable; and she always has creative ways to help them think through fundraising problems. Aside from that, Kelli always has a ready smile and a witty sense of humor, which speaks to her kind heart and sharp mind!
